Pixel was out in the black, prospectin’ bugs and sprouts, stackin’ up discoveries like a gambler stackin’ chips. Then, mid-flight, his keybinds went belly-up. He checked his rig, all tight and tidy. So what’s he do? Decides to Alt-Tab out while still sailin’ a starship, figurin’ he could wrangle his controls back with some third-party contraption.

Well, by the time he Alt-Tabbed back in, gravity’d already called dibs. Silence on comms… then that long, world-weary sigh every pilot knows too well. His ship’d gone and kissed a planet at full burn. Wiped clean: ten first discoveries and near a hundred million creds worth of exo-bio data.
